These Terms of Service govern your use of the DataSonar API. By creating an account or using the API you agree to these terms.

Use of the service

You may use the API to fetch publicly accessible content on the web. You agree not to use the service to circumvent paywalls, scrape personal data in violation of applicable law, or otherwise use the service for unlawful purposes.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for safeguarding your API key. Notify us immediately of any compromise. Activity under your account is your responsibility.

Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Quotas reset at the start of each calendar month. No automatic overage charges.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard. No refunds for partial periods.

Service availability

We aim for 99.9 percent uptime. Service interruptions are reported on our status page. Business and Enterprise plans include written SLAs.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DataSonar's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
